After having recently gone through my house and found all my keepsakes, it’s apparent that I’ve been writing since before I could remember. When I was young, I drew and illustrated all the time. And I couldn’t help but attach stories to the characters I drew, no matter how long-term or temporary they were. So, I guess you could say I was born for it?
As I got older and discovered my own values and beliefs, my stories could finally have meaning and purpose. Once I had gained enough writing experience, I knew I wanted to share my beliefs with everyone who was willing to listen in the form of something that wasn’t boring. I started writing my Deviants series when I was 14 years old. Since then, those characters and that story have become even more important to me than the reasons why I started writing them. And now I can’t stop.
