A Quick Word of Thanks

Riley Moore, a normal college student, cannot quite cope with the world she lives in. Lying and thieving, cheating and scheming, Riley has dealt with enough. She’s looking for a change of scene. But what she gets is not at all what she expected. While sleeping, Riley stumbles into Abaddon, a realm of demons with humanoid appearances and a developed culture. A welcoming Prince and his brother introduce Riley to the Royal Family and acquaint her with this new and attractive place. But is this realm the change of scene Riley needs? Or will it be another close encounter with evil?

“A U.S. college student who finds a way to travel to a realm of demons may be the first sign of a hopeful prophecy in this fantasy novel.” — Kirkus
“I’ll be honest when I say that this book wasn’t in my usual reading genre, but having read this author before and knowing that I loved their style, I wanted to give it a chance. To say I wasn’t disappointed would be an understatement. Abaddon hooks you from the first page. The dialogue is charming and relatable, the scene-setting is both descriptive and imaginative, allowing the reader to be transported into the book. I was sneaking to read it at every opportunity. I love the uniqueness of each character, from their humor to their quirks. I’m feeling a sequel on this one and I cannot pre-order fast enough if this world continues. If you want to be guided to see a little bit of fantasy/theology from a different perspective and be able to latch on to one-of-a-kind characters, this is a must.” — Sarah Westfall
“This book keeps you interested from nearly the beginning. I had a hard time putting it down for work. Riley (and most of the characters for that matter) is a character that feels real and isn’t some copy and pasted hero/demon from another book or movie. Can’t wait for even more from this author!” — oprfdgfdg
“I read this through Kindle unlimited. So worth it! From someone who reads a lot of fantasy, this one is just enough supernatural and just enough different to keep you hooked!” — Kindle Customer
“Abaddon was a great read for all ages about a girl named Riley who discovers a new world with demon inhabitants. Are they friend or foe and will Riley find a way back to her world?
I love how relatable Riley was and the relationships she forms with some of the demons. There were plenty of great moments during the story I wish I could mention but would hate to spoil them for potential readers!
Love how bits of real mythology was pulled for the lore of this world and the author has a great way of describing settings and feelings and I hope to see more from her and this world she has created!
If your a fan of Disney’s Gargoyles or dark fantasy in general, I highly recommend this book!” — Edwin Decastro
“Caught nonstop from first page until the last. This young author is amazing!” — Winfred E Gray
